Tony winner Nathan Lane stopped by Late Night on September 30 to chat with Seth Meyers about his latest gig on the Great White Way: the star-packed It’s Only a Play. With such a variety of big names in the cast, the show is drawing in all sorts of fans, including the Potter-obsessed Rupert Grint fanatics. “You know your fans from his fans,” Lane explains, “because when you walk in to the stage door, and when you see people holding a wand and an owl, you know who they’re there for.” Very astute! How do you spot Stockard Channing fans? Are they all wearing White House pins and one of these? The Broadway funnyman also explained how easy it is for him to relate to the show, as he's often waited for that mammoth review on opening night, for better or for worse. Check out the interview below, and catch all of the stars (and the very talented newcomer Micah Stock!) in It’s Only a Play at the Schoenfeld Theatre.
